Information pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 13 of Legislative Decree 101/2018 implementing EU Regulation No. 679/2016 of 27 April 2016, “on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data”
Pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 13, we inform you of the following.
By implementing the registration procedure for our services, users voluntarily communicate to the Data Controller, their personal data. The personal data sent will be processed in compliance with the principles of protection of personal data established by Legislative Decree 101/2018 and other applicable regulations in force.
The provision of data is optional. However, failure to provide the data deemed mandatory will prevent the proper registration to the sites, as well as the possibility of using the services reserved for registered users.

Purposes and methods of data processing

In the event that the user has expressed consent at the time of activation of the service, and until the revocation of the same, his personal data may be processed by FNOPI to:
- allow access to services and contents;
- allow access to forms for requests to the Fund.
The personal data sent through the registration procedures may be processed by FNOPI with automated tools. This does not prejudice the possibility for FNOPI to process the aforementioned data in aggregate form, in compliance with the measures prescribed by the Guarantor Authority and by virtue of the specific exemption from consent provided for by the same, for electronic analysis and processing (e.g.: classification in homogeneous categories for levels of services, etc.) aimed at periodically monitoring the development and the trend of FNOPI activities, at directing the relevant communication processes, at improving services, as well as at planning and implementing communication collections.
Specific security measures are observed by FNOPI to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
Personal data are recorded and stored onelectronic databases located in Italy.
The processing of personal data provided by users may also be carried out by companies, bodies or consortia, appointed as data processors pursuant to art. 28 of the EU Regulation mentioned above, which, on behalf of FNOPI, provide specific processing services, or related, instrumental or support activities.
The personal data provided by users may also be communicated
- to subjects to whom the right to access personal data is recognized by provisions of law, regulations or EU legislation;
- to subjects towards whom communication is provided for by law or regulations, or by public subjects for the performance of their institutional functions.
The period of conservation of the personal data referred to above is in line with the regulatory provisions in force.
Rights of the interested party
The interested party has the right to ask FNOPI for access to personal data concerning him/her, as well as the rectification, cancellation, limitation, opposition to their processing (where the law or the legitimate interests of the Data Controller allow it).
The data subject has the right to withdraw consent (for the parts provided for by the rule) at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the withdrawal.
The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority for the processing of personal data, pursuant to Article 77 of EU Regulation 679/2016.
